Shannon's cousin Cody Brown was leaving the state, moving back to Minnesota. Shannon wanted to make a quick, simple video (unlike the "BOB" short film - which needs a LOT of visual effects - that we filmed the previous time he moved away). But as it turned out, this would indeed be the final days Cody was living in Texas as he created a new life In Minnesota and stayed.

So, without a crew, Shannon set up a couple cameras and him and Cody would read a few lines of the script and recite them. Surprisingly, they got some adequate, if not good, performances, albeit some technical errors due to not having a crew, but those are barely noticeable.

With the use of a paid stock footage, some photoshopping, and ignoring a few mistakes (like Shannon holding the script in a few shots while performing), from start to finish, the entire skit was shot in less than a couple hours. They tried to mimic police lights using red and blue gelled strobe lights but that didn't work out. Digital lens flares were used instead. Otherwise, the shoot went on almost without incident.

Although, they did find out the new traffic lights in town had the imaging sensors on them and NOT a timer. So when Shannon backed the SUV up and waited an eternity for the light to turn green at 2 a.m., the light never wanted to turn. But the moment he pulled up to the light, the light changed, so he quickly backed up, got a running start and ran through the GREEN light, and later using VFX, he magically made the traffic light (and reflections for realism) RED. Visual effects were used to speed up the SUV going through the intersection, add the large full moon into a shot, and to manipulate the speedometer.
