A short, semi-simple video I made due to two reasons.
1. I wanted to try something new: a silly, cheesy skit... a comedy
2. Inspiration from a youtuber named Michael Morettini.

This project was unknowingly the first in what ultimately became the Silly Quadrilogy - a series of non-related projects done just for fun, with little to no attention paid to details; the only reason for the Silly Quadrilogy existing is to take a much-needed break from the dark, complicated, drawn-out production of Insanely Sane.

This video stars Logan Harrison. Logan appears in another LSP film named "Insanely Sane."
Logan was wonderful and brought much more to the part than I could ever have directed him to.

From the first shot to last, it took us like an hour and a half to film.

While there weren't many special effects, the few that were present were difficult to finish due to the rotoscoping involved (I hate using green screen). The effects were done during short periods spread out throughout the month.

The musical score was 100% completely original by Shannon. While brief, he is actually proud of the final results on the music. Tis one of the few instances wherein "Mickey Mousing" technique is used - wherein musical notes mirror precise movements/actions on screen.

Goofy sound effects were added to accentuate the comedy - little things such as head turns, and arm movements had a "swoosh" to accompany them.

Quick cuts and frantic camera movements were the order of the day.

THE LOGAN HARRISON.

This short was filmed the final evening Logan lived in Waco, TX. The very next day he moved to South Texas near Galveston, TX.

On November 18, 2013, Logan passed away.

Logan's death shattered Shannon Shaw. It taught him the need to step out of your comfort zone and how precious life can be when it can unexpectedly be over in an instant. It also reminded Shannon of how vitally important friends are. Logan was Shannon's last true friend - one who would call almost daily and talk for minutes or hours, sometimes going weeks without hearing from each other then picking right back where we left off. Shannon didn't realize, out of all the people he's ever known, how important Logan's friendship was to him until years later when he realized that, almost a decade later, he STILL had not gained another friend as good as Logan. No one will ever compare to his uniqueness, but he was truly irreplaceable.
